How to Cut SVGs with Silhouette Studio
To cut SVGs with Silhouette CAMEO you must have the Silhouette Studio Designer Edition software here: Download to open the SVG file in Silhouette Studio.

After completing the installation. To open the SVG file in Silhouette Studio. With the upgraded software installed, you can open SVG files on Svgking. We have the main interface like this. First you need to extract the .ZIP file to get our versions and file types. ( SVG, PNG, EPS, DXF ) and 3 Version: Black, White, Color.
You can then drag and drop the svg file into the software for editing. But if you put me in the position of the user, then Cricut will be easier to manipulate and use than Silhouette. SVGs come into Silhouette Studio with the cut lines turned on. You can confirm this by going to the Send panel and you’ll see the design has bold red lines around it – which indicates the cut lines are on. You’re ready to cut the SVG.
If you do not have Silhouette Studio Designer Edition or higher, you can open the DXF or PNG version of the file rather than the SVG. The PNG design will need to be traced in order to create cut lines.
